Terms of Use

What you can expect from Starward VPN, what we ask of you in return, and the rules that sit behind both.

Valid from 15 October 2026

1. The deal

These terms are an agreement between you and M.D.O.S. RESTAURANT LTD, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus (“we”, “us”). They cover the Starward VPN app for iPhone (the “App”) and the VPN servers it connects to, which we call the “Service” together. Our End User License Agreement governs the App as software, and our Privacy Policy explains what happens to data. You accept all three by downloading or using the App. If you would rather not, simply don’t use it.

2. What the service is

The App sets up an encrypted WireGuard tunnel between your iPhone and one of our servers. While it is on, the network you are using cannot see what you send, and websites and apps see the server’s address instead of yours.

A VPN protects the connection, not everything else: it does not make you anonymous to services you sign in to, it is not antivirus software and it cannot stop phishing. The current version of the App is free and has no sign-up and no in-app purchases.

3. Your device, no account

There is nothing to register. On first use the App creates a cryptographic identity on your iPhone and our servers issue it a random device ID; that identity is what gives your iPhone access. Keep your device protected with a passcode — anyone who can use your unlocked iPhone can use the App on it.

A future version may offer extra features or locations as a paid subscription. If it does, the following applies:

  1. Subscriptions are sold and charged by Apple through the App Store under Apple’s terms; we never see your card.
  2. The App shows the price, the length of each period and any free trial before you confirm. Prices vary by country and may include tax.
  3. A subscription renews by itself for the same period at the price in force at that moment, unless auto-renewal is switched off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges the renewal to your Apple Account within those last 24 hours.
  4. A free trial becomes a paid subscription when it ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand.
  5. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Removing the App does not cancel one; a cancelled subscription runs until the end of the period already paid.
  6. Refunds are Apple’s decision under Apple’s policies. We cannot grant them ourselves, but we will help you ask.
  7. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may be able to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days through Apple. Nothing in these terms limits the rights mandatory consumer law gives you.

5. What is off limits

You may use the Service only for lawful, personal purposes. In particular, do not use it to:

  • commit or prepare a crime, or violate other people’s rights, including copyright;
  • send spam or distribute malware;
  • scan, probe, attack or gain unauthorised access to any system or network;
  • defraud, threaten or harass anyone, or share material depicting the sexual abuse of children;
  • overload the Service, disturb other users or get around the limits we set;
  • resell access to the Service or run it for others as a business.

6. Limits and local laws

To keep the Service fast for everyone we may set reasonable limits, for example on speed, data volume or simultaneous connections. Some countries restrict or ban VPNs; whether you may use one where you are is for you to check.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running at all times, but we cannot promise that it will never be interrupted or that it will work on every network: maintenance, network blocking and events outside our control can all get in the way. Server locations may be added, moved or withdrawn.

8. Our rights in the App

The App and the Service — code, design, texts, names and logos — belong to us or our licensors. Open-source components, including WireGuard, are used under their own licences. Ideas you send us may be used to improve the App without any obligation to pay for them.

9. Our promise

We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that and the guarantees given to you by law, it comes “as is” and “as available”, without any promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suited to a particular purpose. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain untouched.

10. Where liability stops

  1. We do not exclude or limit liability where that would be unlawful — for instance for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
  2. Otherwise we are not liable for losses nobody could reasonably foresee, for business losses such as lost profit, income, contracts or data, or for events beyond our reasonable control.
  3. Otherwise, our total liability connected with the Service is capped at EUR 100 or at what you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, if that is more.

11. Stopping

You can stop at any time by deleting the App; to have your registration erased from our servers as well, write to us. We may suspend or end the Service for a device that breaks these terms seriously or repeatedly, where the law requires it, or to protect the Service and its users — with notice where that is reasonable. Sections 8 to 10 and 13 continue to apply afterwards.

12. New versions of these terms

When the Service or the law changes, these terms may change too. The version in force is always on this page with the date it became valid, and significant changes will be announced in the App in advance. If you keep using the Service after a change, the new version applies; if you disagree with it, you are free to stop.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus, and its courts deal with any dispute. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your home country and may also go to its courts. Before any of that, please write to us — most problems are solved by e-mail.
